Two wonderful paintings Judy. Prachtig.
groetjes Marja

Thanks Ann! In real life the colour of the vase is a bit darker, the scanner made it more vibrant, but I like it too.

Dankjewel Marja!

Heel mooi Judy!!!

Judy said...

Hoi Renate!

Both are lovely, Judy! I like very much the reflections of the fruits in the shadows. The contour of the fineliner on the flowers says "carnations".

Both of these are gorgeous! Nice light touch but solid.
Happy Painting,

Thank you Blaga! I thought they were carnations, but I'm not sure. "Oeillettes" in French.

Thank you Nora, you inspire me to try different things!

Thank you Anamaria, I'm glad you like my experiments!

Thank you Sidmar, I'm glad you like them!

Thank you Karen! I'm planning to do more like the first one.

Thank you Pat! Glad you like my experimenting!

Thank you Jane! They turned out better than I expected.

Hi Judy, I like very much the luminosity that all your works have. Congratulations for these still lifes, both are beautiful!

It's very nice to have a bit of insight into how your create your luminous watercolors.
Your experimenting certainly reaps rewards... and as you say, it's fun to experiment and play.

This is beautiful. Such lovely bouncing color!

Beautiful treatment, Judy - light and fresh and so watercolory, as always. Experimenting is fun! I tried the watercolor pencils a couple of times, too. Didn't like them so much, but you have done a much better job with them than I did!

Irina said...

Pencils added more sharpness to your amazing works. Just a bit, made them even better.
I want to see this sun in person..

Judy said...

Thank you everyone, for your kind comments and your visit!
I'm not sure the fineliner pens were a good idea. But I like the watercolour pencils for an initial drawing, I'm certainly going to use that more often.

They are simply wonderful, Judy! I particularly love the looseness of your flowers, and the contrast of their colors with the blue vase... delightful!

Heel mooi weer Judy.
