Ogen... Eyes...

Ik ben ogen aan het oefenen. Moeilijk om niet te veel aan de ogen te prutsen! Pff.
Geschilderd zonder potloodlijnen.

I have been practising eyes. Hard not to fiddle too much! Pff.
Painted without pencil lines.

These are wonderful! I'd be reluctant to paint them without a pencil guide but clearly you didn't need them at all! :0)

Beautiful blue eyes! I think it is a difficult exercise without having a preliminary drawing, but you did it very well Judy! Ciao!

Hallo Judy :) Wat knap! Ik kan in ieder geval zien dat de onderste een paar kinderogen zijn. Toch?
Ik vind ze heel mooi geworden en het is altijd een goede oefening!

I think you managed great with this difficult subject.

Un travail qui n'est pas simple du tout... Peindre des yeux afin que le regard apparaisse ainsi que le secret de l'âme...
gros bisous

Well done Judy, eyes are so crutial in a painting...hence I usually avoid portraits. lol. Your paintings are very good indeed.

Bellissimo lo sguardo del bambino! complimenti

Thank you everyone!
I avoid whole portraits because of the likeness, I just want to get the eyes right first.

I like the eyes you painted, Judy! They are beautiful and expressive.I think you've chosen a difficult path, for me it seems easier to paint a whole face.Anyway, you did it very well!

These eyes are phenomenal!

Well done Judy! The eyes are very difficult, but even with watercolors. Have to think long before you start and you did it very well, reflect much emotion. Congratulations! Grace

Great looking eyes, Judy.

Nice and loose! I see no traces of fiddling. The child's face has such a nice expression! To me, eyes are the most fun part of a face.
Have a nice week, Judy!

Hi Judy, I'm back a bit and looking at some of my favorite blogs.
Eyes have always been so enjoyable to paint.. I've done from the glamorous to the old wrinkly and when I do a face it's always the eyes I do first.. I know that if they're good, the rest will fall into place.
I like that you;ve used the one color palette. Nice ! hugs BJ
