An old painting...

Going through my older paintings I found some that were never published on my blog.
This is my watercolour interpretation of an oil painting on a book cover. Looking at it now, I'd like to darken the shadows more next time.

Lovely story of you meeting Renate and the painting she did for you. Not a virtual friend anymore!

Hoi Judy!

What a generous person Renate is, and her painting of your dog is brilliant. I find that when you see works from some time ago, you always want to enhance the values, I suppose that is what is called progress :-)) Like your 'old' work very much !

A beautiful moment when we leave the blog and we become "real."
Nice to imagine you, dear friend, and Renate walking together!
A beautiful gift for you, by Renate. A watercolor, from you, with a blue that delights ...
I wish you beautiful days in the city where you now live and good health for you as for Renate.
A caress, for my part, to Perra!

Thank you blogfriends!! Perra is no longer with us, she was my dog many years ago. But I still keep a picture of her among my other family pictures.

Hi Judy, your blue vase is absolutely wonderful, a very nice version indeed. What a great experience to meet a friend after meeting her only virtually via web. I'm really happy for you and Renate. Ciao!

Both paintings are so beautiful. I like the blue touch in your old painting. And Renate has also done a good job in your dog. It seemed that you and Renate had a good time together.
