Hot...

Warm en lui weer, dus ik heb alleen deze twee kleine schetsjes gemaakt. Witte bloemen en een snelle impressie van het rivierslandschap van mijn vorige post.

Hot and lazy weather, so I only did these two little sketches. White flowers and a quick impression of the river landscape of my previous post.

Agreed, it's very hot, so nice to do other things too than just stay in the sun. Beatiful painting. Nice how you use the white in the paper sheet :)

Preciosa la primera!. Unas flores delicadas y bien definidas...Buena técnica, además.
Y el segundo, como boceto está muy bien.

Felicitaciones por ambos! Sé que en verano es difícil trabajar con los pinceles...

Abrazos y felicitaciones.
Te invito a mi sitio, recién abierto.

The white blooms are deliciously painted and the landscape is fantastic with its simplicity. It's a perfect example of distilling the essence of a scene. A great lesson for me.
I envy your hot weather. It's been a cooler and rainy summer here so far.

I think these are my favorite kind of aquarella. Simple subject and a sort of hazy look. Very nice Judy!

I agree - it is hard to concentrate on painting in the studio when the weather is so glorious! I love your new photo blog, Judy, and will stop there frequently as well!

My favourite type of loose watercolour Judy. Congrats on achieving such lovely freshness and freedom especially in the flowers.

Hi Judy, to me both are really beautiful, but I am delighted by the beauty and the essentiality of the landscape. Bravissima come sempre!!

Elegant, as always, Judy! I like the soft background with these flowers, and the flowers are light and beautiful. The scene study is lovely - you have captured its essence and the hazy heat of the day. Hope it cools off a bit for you soon.

Your easy brushstrokes and lively color mixing are so special, so great. I like this landscape sketch so much. Though flowers are so full with summer, too.
