Ammonite...

Inspired by the ammonites I saw in the Crystal Museum in Borculo.
This subject demanded several techniques: I used a sponge, I scattered powder of watercolour pencil made with a piece of sandpaper, and I spattered.

  6. I love these Ammonites Judy. A while ago I had an idea about using a candle as a crayon but, typical of me, I never got round to trying it. Having seen what a great job you made of the Ammonite maybe now I will. Great work. ;-)
