A card and a camera...

This is a card that I painted for my cousin's birthday.

The camera is a design I made for a button for my photoblog. I used watercolour, ink pen, felt tip pen, white crayon and white gouache. The outcome was still rather dull, I thought, though I put some colour in the Payne's gray. So I used a photo-editor to add more colour to the button.

Have a nice week!

I'm sure your cousin was delighted with the special card you painted, it's such a special gift in itself.

As for your camera painting, I do like both versions, couldn't like one more than the other.

I'm glad to see today your beautiful card and your PHOTO-Blog buttons...If Judy paints , Judy is happier!!!
Both cameras are well, but cheerful colors of second version to my eyes are better ...they lead visitors to press on...
Have nice week you too!

Hi, Judy, the work is so beautiful. Go any direction in our limited life, you'll find eternity and limitless -- is my favorite thinking. Cheers, Sadami

I hope your cousin puts a frame on that card! It's just beautiful. Thanks for the tip on the button. I liked the painting even before you photo-edited it!

This echinacea is so beautifully panted with the light and shade on its drooping petals!
I like the camera too. I didn't realize you uses so many tools by looking at it. Ink/felt pen works well for emphasising shades on objects with man-made shapes. Thanks for the idea!

Gros bisous ♡

How wonderful to get a hand painted card. I like your camera very much. I like how you always seem to bleed a little of the paint. It makes your paintings very soft.
