Seringen... Lilacs...

Mijn seringen staan weer in volle bloei! Ik ben gek op schilderen direct 'from life'.
Dit is geschilderd op Fabriano Artistico, omdat mijn favoriete aquarelpapier Canson Fontenay om de een of andere reden niet makkelijk te verkrijgen is de laatste tijd. Ik zal eens op internet proberen.

My lilacs are in full bloom again! I love painting directly from life.
This is painted on Fabriano Artistico, because my favourite watercolour paper Canson Fontenay for some reason is not easily available lately. I'll try the internet.

  4. Thank you for all your cheerful spring flowers this month. They are really a nice pick me up. Mornings are still cool here but the forecasters promise a long dry spell - good for getting out to paint!

  24. Beautiful lilacs. Everybody loves them. You're luck to have some to paint. Over the weekend, I could not find a single bush by the roadside to cut a few for painting. I'm going to have to plant my own bush.
