Inspired by Donna Zagotta's blog to find six words to describe your life as an artist.

~~ eruption of colour from my soul ~~

These are the six words I came up with. Since I picked up my brushes again, painting feels like a force of nature that has to come out. Nothing can stop me now.
This sketch I made a few weeks ago and this seems a good opportunity to post it.

  3. He Judy! "my feelings are in my paintings".

  5. Love the daffodils Judy. Found your Spotlights really interesting, in fact I'll be bookmarking them to take a closer look later on, thanks for highlighting these artists. Oh, and it looks as though Maggie Latham lives fairly local to me (what a small world)!!

  23. Judy, I'm terribly sorry if I did something bad by using your painting as the thumbnail for my Rookie Painter Challenge button! I really didn't think about copyright problems. I wanted to make a button and they didn't have one so I chose a pretty picture and used it. Would you like me to remove it or put a caption on it giving you credit? I have Rookie Painter on my blog list already, so it's kind of redundant anyway. I just wanted the button toward the top of my blog. On second thought I think I'll just remove it and use text for the button. Sorry for any problem I caused! :)
