Back to basics...



Na een paar schilderijen waar ik niet tevreden over was, vond ik het tijd om even terug te gaan naar de basis (zie Exploring Colour op Maggie Latham Fine Art*).
Ik heb een paar kleurenwielen gedaan en meteen mijn groenen eens onder de loep genomen.
Ik heb ook een paar value studies gedaan.
Meteen een goede gelegenheid om mijn paletten schoon te maken en opnieuw in te delen.
* Helaas bestaat Maggie's blog niet meer.

After a few paintings that I was not happy with, I thought it was time to go back to basics (see Exploring Colour on Maggie Latham Fine Art*).
I did a few colour wheels and at the same time took a good look at my greens.
I did a few value studies as well.
Also a good opportunity to clean my palettes and rearrange them.
* I am sorry, but Maggie's blog does not exist anymore.

    Its a useful thing to do.
