Sparrows...

I had not seen them for some time, sparrows. They are getting rarer and rarer.
I was so pleased to see them visiting the feeder on my balcony, so they had to be painted.

  1. Both renditions are lovely Judy! We still get several varieties here, some of my favorite are the tiny chipping sparrow.

  3. Thanks Laura! Nice to hear there are sparrows on the other side of the ocean too.

  12. Hi Judy. Love both your paintings. Birds are special creatures in my eyes. They have the freedom to fly anywhere and when they choose to visit us that makes us feel special too perhaps. Enjoy them whilst you can. xx

  22. Both are lovely! The top one is more precise and with a nice background. the second seems very spontaneous and I like the random colors. It must have been difficult to sketch these moving models.
