Make over...

I wasn't quite happy about this painting and gave it a yellow make over.
This painting is available in my Etsy shop.

Thank you Polly, it was a gamble, but I'm glad it worked.

Thank you Anamaria, it was inspired by our discussion about yellow as underpainting.

Thanks Blaga, I'm glad I took this risk, it really feels like sunlight, doesn't it.

Thank you Ann, I love the magic of watercolours too!

  10. (Necesito un Traductor!) ... ;)

  15. It worked well, as a beginner I have just learned that you can go back over work and change it yours is a good example of how successful this can be, although I quite liked the greeny first version too.

  18. It's nice. How did you paint the narrow lines of the branches? It has always been difficult for me.

  21. Place the tree in a colorful space has changed the story ... a tree isolated on a white background suggests a somber mood while setting colored it suggests a more cheerful ...
The tree in winter, with the yellow has turned into a spring tree!
    Wonderful change, dear Judy!
