Tulips in paper...

Watercolour with some pen lines. Painted from a photo taken several years ago.
I had the feeling that I bought the bouquet again and could enjoy it all over again. I might make a decent watercolour from this picture one day.
But for now I don't want to paint flowers for a while. I have so many photo's of landscapes in my files, the time has come to do something with them.

What a gorgeous painting!! It's not often you see paintings of flowers done in this way - They are almost always in vases. Gorgeous!! :0)

I'm so glad to see you painting again, dear Judy! Our motivations seems to be alternating...
This tulips bouquet is very beautiful, way more than a "decent" watercolor :) And I love the anemones, you paint them so well (although, I still have the best ones on my wall!)
Can't wait to see the landscapes.

I love your bouquet of tulips. and the paper they are wrapped in. Tulips to me are synonymous with Spring. So I'm always happy to see them arrive.

I love the colors you used in the background. Looking forward to some of your landscapes.
