Bij het uitzoeken van mijn stapel schilderijen vond ik deze twee weer terug.

Twee oude favorieten. De lathyrus schilderde ik in 2011 en de seringen in 2012.

Het zijn de bloemen waar ik het meest van houd.
Ik gooi een hoop dingen weg die niet aan mijn eisen voldoen. Maar deze twee mogen blijven.

Going through my stack of paintings I found these two again.

Two old favourites. I painted the sweet peas in 2011 and the lilacs in 2012.

These are the flowers that I love the most.
I am throwing out a lot of paintings that do not meet my requirements. But these two may stay.
