This is lovely Judy, you have the reflections looking like glass.

Oei wat mooi Judy! Het lijkt wel of de bananen op een spiegel liggen zo mooi is de reflectie. Ook dat je ze "naar je toe" hebt geschilderd is prachtig! Heel mooi!

Thank you Ann, of course it was a wonderful reference photo to paint from.

Dankje Renate, dit was leuk om te schilderen, van een mooie foto natuurlijk!

Banana, banana, Suzanna...I wasn't sure what I was looking at as I scrolled my page. I had to take a closer look. What a simply wonderful idea and you did it so well. All is right, the reflection is very well done.

Preciosos colores y reflejos.

Merci beaucoup, Lydie!

Dankje, Simonne!

Muchas gracias, Sonia! There are a lot of colors in this painting: two yellows, red, ultramarine blue, indanthrene blue, violet and burnt omber.

Dankje Cora!

Linda, I know what you mean that you had to take a closer look. I worked very wet and the spots mixed together into one big spot. But to my surprise it worked and I like it. I am glad you like it too.

Dankje Marja! De reflectie was natuurlijk het mooie van de foto, en ik heb hem benadrukt.

Muchas gracias, Tina!

Great reflection of these wonderful bananas...love the loose way of painting them . I can see they are quite mature, great for' banana flambée ' :-)

Wat een prachtig effect met veel diepte. Goede diepe schaduw maar toch heel transparant. Knap gedaan!

Hello Judy!Hello Judy! Your watercolor fruit is very beautiful, the harmony of the reflection, the background color of the base, and then ...the stains of ripe bananas are like the beat inside the music!

Hi Jane, bananas get sweeter when they get black spots! Banana flambée... sounds delicious! :)

Dankje Annet!

Hi, Judy! You painted these so free and loose, yet they look so real! There is a lot I have missed. The portrait of the girl is wonderful. The sheep head too. And all the flowers, of course, but you know that :)
