I thought he looked familiar. We have them in our backyard in Holland. We have a nest of Koolmaises in our birdhouse right now, Enno said. Your painting is charming. I'm going home next week and can't wait to see the familiar surroundings of my beautiful Dutch home. I'm glad it didn't sell this year. I am ready to paint again. It seems I don't have time with all my babies in Texas. xo Jenny
Your little bird is so delightful, and so is the cup of coffee below. I like the way you use the background colors in the subject and give the piece such unity. It creates a special mood that soothing.
So alive this blue tit, which seems ready to fly away ... just blocked for a moment from your art, light as a dream. I truly love and admire always the brightness and the poetry of your painting.
What a cutie! I've been watching all the little baby blue tits in my apple tree waiting to be fed. They haven't learnt to be afraid yet so I can stand very close. The parents are too busy finding enough food to be worried by me. You have captured their curiosity.
Ahhh, this is SO sweet Judy, lovely painting ツ

BeantwoordenVerwijderenA blue tit looks about the same size as a sparrow, but prettier.
