Make over...

Ik was niet helemaal happy met dit schilderij en heb het een gele make-over gegeven.
Dit schilderij is te koop in mijn Etsy winkeltje.

I wasn't quite happy about this painting and gave it a yellow make over.
This painting is available in my Etsy shop.

I think it worked beautifully. New version has more depth, I really like it Judy!

I like the sun sneaking behind the tree and the impression of sunlight that this glaze created

Good work!...Like it anyway, but that's quite a bold decision and it worked. Oh I do love watercolours :)

Dankjewel Renske!

Thank you Polly, it was a gamble, but I'm glad it worked.

Thank you Anamaria, it was inspired by our discussion about yellow as underpainting.

Thanks Blaga, I'm glad I took this risk, it really feels like sunlight, doesn't it.

Thank you Ann, I love the magic of watercolours too!

Worked well, I always hold my breath when doing a total glaze but sometimes it is just what is needed

(Necesito un Traductor!) ... ;)

Me gusta tu acuarela y sus colores suaves, sin embargo prefiero la primera, me parece que tiene más unidad en la composición con la ayuda del color. La otra se ve más débil...

ABRAZO GRANDE, DESDE CHILE!

It worked well, as a beginner I have just learned that you can go back over work and change it yours is a good example of how successful this can be, although I quite liked the greeny first version too.

You created much more depth, I think it was a great idea !

It totally changed it to a bright, early morning, to an early evening sunset! I like both :0)

It's nice. How did you paint the narrow lines of the branches? It has always been difficult for me.

Het heeft meer diepte gekregen. En het is warmer van tint. Het lijkt nu net of er avondlicht op schijnt.

Place the tree in a colorful space has changed the story ... a tree isolated on a white background suggests a somber mood while setting colored it suggests a more cheerful ...
The tree in winter, with the yellow has turned into a spring tree!
Wonderful change, dear Judy!

I love sunsets, so I prefer the second version. But both are very successful. Grace

Het ziet er nu warmer uit, maar ik vind de eerste ook erg mooi. En met aquarel kun je niet meer terug.
